Sam-

Thanks for leaving us a comment. To answer your questions, my favorite place to stay on Bull Shoals is in the Spring Creek Arm. If you are looking for recommendations for places to stay I would highly recommend Big Creek Resort (http://www.bigcreekresort.biz/). The whole resort was recently renovated and they have awesome fully furnished log cabins.

In terms of fishing I am not an expert but I could look up the phone number of a great guide who I know personally. His name is Allan Tharp, I don't his number handy right now but if you are interested I could find it for you.

Hope that helps you out and have a great trip!

I will be heading down to Bull Shoals the second weekend of April this year...never been there before. Since fishing is dependent on lodging, I would like to hear your thoughts on a solid place to stay/fish? I am looking to catch a lunker largemouth and some nice walters to eat for our meals. Thanks.
