]]> http://blog.showmelakes.com/2010/05/new-fishing-report-up-2.html/feed 0 Fishing/Weather Update http://blog.showmelakes.com/2009/10/fishingweather-update.html http://blog.showmelakes.com/2009/10/fishingweather-update.html#comments Thu, 15 Oct 2009 02:02:30 +0000 Samuel http://blog.showmelakes.com/?p=122 Just wanted to Update everyone on the Fishing conditions and weather down at Bull Shoals Lake.  The fishing on the lake has been really excellent for the past two weeks.   We have been cathing scores of fish in about 20-30 feet of water as the fish are starting to move down a little bit due to the cold.  Which leads me to the next update… the weather.  It is starting to get really cold!!  We were down their last weekend at it got down to 30 at night!  That is really starting to get cold.  So with the weather turning there are really about a month left to enjoy the great fishing so if you are planning on getting any fishing in then you will want to hurry!

]]> http://blog.showmelakes.com/2009/10/fishingweather-update.html/feed 0 Bull Shoals Lake Fishing Update http://blog.showmelakes.com/2009/10/bull-shoals-lake-fishing-update.html http://blog.showmelakes.com/2009/10/bull-shoals-lake-fishing-update.html#comments Mon, 05 Oct 2009 21:37:45 +0000 Samuel http://blog.showmelakes.com/?p=110 Hey there, just wanted to update everyone on the Fishing at Bull Shoals Lake.  We were down at the lake this weekend (10/2/2009) and the fishing was really starting to pick up.  In about 3 hours of fishing on Saturday morning we caught 5 keepers between the 3 of us (which were great for dinner that night) including 3 really nice sized Bass.  In general the fishing conditions in the lake are really starting to become ideal, we should definitly be in for some great fishing the next 2-3 weeks in most spots on the lake.  This time of year is typically a great time to fish on Bull Shoals Lake, and in large part due to the high waters of the past month this year is proving to be no exception.  We are planning on going down both of the next two weekends and will post our results/advice then.  If you headed to Bull Shoals anytime soon Good luck fishing and hopefully you enjoy the great fishing right now.

]]> http://blog.showmelakes.com/2009/10/bull-shoals-lake-fishing-update.html/feed 2 Fishing on Bull Shoals Lake http://blog.showmelakes.com/2009/09/fishing-on-bull-shoals-lake.html http://blog.showmelakes.com/2009/09/fishing-on-bull-shoals-lake.html#comments Tue, 22 Sep 2009 16:19:53 +0000 Samuel http://blog.showmelakes.com/?p=101 Well we just got back from fishing this weekend (9/20/09) at Bull Shoals Lake and man was the fishing good.  The first day we were there we went out with fishing guide Alan Tharp (who is and  excellent guide) and combine we caught just under 60 bass!  The following day we went out with our neighbour and resident fishing expert Russ Silvio.  We did really well again ending up with about 20 keepers.   All in all the fishing was some of the best we have recently had at Bull Shoals, and we are planing on going back again this weekend to work on our house as well as fish some more.
